Summit Family Practice, LLC, is located in downtown Palmer, Alaska and provides Family Medicine and Urgent Care services to the Palmer and surrounding MatSu Borough communities from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. We are the only non-hospital urgent care provider open 7 days a week in the MatSu Valley. Summit Family Practice, LLC, also has an Anchorage location.
A full time position is available January 1, 2012. MDs, DOs, NPs and PAs are welcome to apply. Several years of general primary care experience is preferred.
Services provided include preventive care; chronic disease management; acute illnesses; treatment of minor emergencies and injuries; pre-op and school/sport physicals; DOT exams; travel consults and travel vaccines; childhood and adult vaccines; EGKs and lab services. We welcome all patients including those with Medicare and Medicaid.
Work schedule is four 10 hour shifts per week and includes sharing weekends with other providers.
Summit Family Practice will be implementing an EHR in the very near future!
Salary DOE. Benefits include paid vacation/sick leave, malpractice insurance, employer sponsored health insurance program, and employer sponsored SIMPLE-IRA (which includes matching employer contributions).

Mon., Tues, Wed. and Friday 7:30am -5:00pm
Thursday 7:30am -12pm & 1:30pm - 5:00pm
Walk-In Hours: Mon., Tues, Wed. and Friday 7:30am -4:00pm and Thursday 7:30am - 12:00pm, 1:30pm - 4:00pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
Our Anchorage location is open at 7:30am for walk-in lab work for established patients.
Palmer Hours:
Open 7 days a week, Sunday - Saturday, 9am -7pm.
